Judge Daniel Gaul has sat on the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas court in Cleveland for several years. In 2007, Judge Daniel Gaul presided over a criminal case wherein the defendant was charged with assaulting his girlfriend and the 83-year-old woman she was caring for. When the 83-year-old woman failed to appear at the criminal trial, he surmised that the defendant was guilty of intimidation (threatening her to not testify.)
